Driver's Benefits

Being a part of a family operated company provides our employees the benefit of being more than just a number.  NNT relies on its deeply rooted family environment to offer personal contact and open communication lines to our drivers.  For example, our Operations center is sensitive to where our drivers reset their hours each week.  Having our drivers home to enjoy their family is one of our goals. So naturally when our drivers require a reset, we encourage down time at home.

NNT strives to improve its benefit package, competitive industry wages and driving environment features with the modern equipment.   Our power units are built with 126 inch sleeper cab, LED lights, Arctic Comfort Package for warmth and quietness, Autoshift12 Transmission, Detroit 15 liter engines, Collision Mitigation Avoidance Systems, double bunks for extra storage, refrigerators and even swivel chairs.  With respect to your limited driving and on duty time, NO TOUCH freight and drop and hook opportunities are becoming customary daily occurrences.

Our company has the resources to offer an unparalleled technologically advanced tractor for not only performance to the driver but comfort features that should be universal in nature.  The power units of choice are 2018 and 2019 Freightliner Cascadia SP126.

Preferred Lanes

The consistency of our operation is between the I 95 and I 81 corridor.  Each and every day 65% of our operation is moving between this major region.  Therefore, if you live between Upstate New York and Atlanta, GA, you will always be able to consider that you will have the opportunity of seeing your family.   NNT is always trying to accommodate your responsibilities at home.  Because of this, we are trying to take some of the burden off you when you are on the road when critical situations arise.  Our help desk offers local handyman suggestions to help find suitable help in emergencies such as water pipes or AC Repair.

Because the volume of loads we transport move within this region, you are always able to head back to the house if a problem arises.

Home Time

Our terminal is strategically located to allow our drivers to be based near their homes. It also establishes a local market presence enabling NNT to respond more rapidly to customer demands. Many of NNT's drivers have retired since the company purchased its first fleet of trucks in 1952.   From experience, we know that this type of loyalty exists because NNT treats its drivers like professionals and gives utmost respect for the hard work they provide. All centralized dispatch operations are coordinated with the owners of the company. You, as a driver, have instant contact with the owners.
